My name is Josh Janusch and Drift is my personal blog where I discuss interesting things I discover and encounter while programming with a lesser focus on sports, film, music, video games, books, and current events.

I was born and raised in metro Detroit, MI. As you might expect from someone who grew up in Detroit during the 90s/00s, I am a diehard Red Wings fan and hockey is one of my favorite pastimes.

I moved to Phoenix, AZ for work in 2012 and while the weather was a drastic change, I have thoroughly enjoyed living here, despite the occasional bout of homesickness.

Since 2021, I have worked at the global software agency Vincit as a software engineer and engineering manager. Prior to that, I worked for 8 years at Vuria, an agency based in Phoenix, AZ. A full resume and CV will be available soon. You can see more information about my work history on LinkedIn.
